Hello, I am Caroline Sprott, Lipedema health influencer, speaker, blogger, something like a model and lipedema girl for everything. The name probably explains it very quickly  also the shop name. But where does the power come from? Who is the Sprotte? And why is this shop so incredibly super-duper-great? Yeah, I'd like to know that myself. But I'll try to tell you everything you want to know.

What is a  Power Sprotte?

That's basically you, or rather, that's you when I'm done with you. But I'll start first,  I am basically the Ur-Spratte.

In 2010/2011 I was diagnosed with lipedema in my legs, my arms would soon follow, and so at the age of 24 I found myself standing in front of an immense abyss full of fear for the future, frustration and despair. I found it hard to accept the slowly worsening situation, as I was committed to therapy and diligently doing everything I could to prevent this from happening. But that was the way it was and I had to come up with something to save myself from this abyss before it pulled me into itself.

With my last bit of energy, I created my own fashion therapy, in which I dressed every day to match my medically necessary compression.  The positive approach to  This negative energy source has made me stronger and taught me how much it is in my own hands to motivate myself and to always remind myself how strong I am.

Oh, you're that fashion blogger!

Yes, exactly. With my blog lipedema fashion In 2015, I founded what is now the largest patient-led website with all kinds of knowledge and interesting articles on the subject of self-management for lipedema and lymphedema and compression in general. The topic of fashion alone quickly became too small for me. Guest authors and manufacturers have worked with me to make this site a very important point of contact for other sufferers. On Instagram and Facebook I regularly give outfit inspiration for different flat knit compression colors - who needs sleep?

Why did you open a shop now?

I am a fundamentally happy person and have always wanted a few motivating everyday items that would give me energy. Unfortunately, I have spent the last few years waiting in vain for a shop like this that specializes in exactly my target group. What else can I do but take matters into my own hands and create all the beautiful things for myself and all the other fighters that I have longed for?

The power in the name stands for the positive energy that should flow into your life through the products. I send you all my strength so that you can give your all in your therapy. This gives me a joy that nothing can compare to and that is what counts in life, isn't it?

And with your joy about your order, energy comes back into my system and the math works out.

This shop is unique and was created by me especially for you.Here you will find yourself in a protected space where you feel understood and in good company as someone affected, but above all as the woman or man behind the illness.
